Hillgrove
Hillgrove is a charming detached Edwardian house located in a quiet, exclusive residential area of Wirral overlooking park wood on Bidston Hill. It provides specialist personalised care for elderly people with dementia in a warm, relaxed homely environment where the right to privacy and independence are central to the home's philosophy.
We cater for 23 male and female residents with varying degrees of dementia. The rooms are bright and spacious with pleasant aspects .
The home is run by a caring and qualified team who provide support, care and companionship to each individual. Each resident has a personalised care plan which allows for their individual needs and preferences to be catered for.
There is a vibrant atmosphere throughout the home and this is enhanced by a varied weekly schedule of activities overseen by our activities co-ordinator.

Hillgrove Ethos
The aim of the home is to provide 24 hour professional care for those who can no longer look after themselves at home and/or who need the company of others.
We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which residents can fulfil their full potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially with the help of trained care workers.

Hillgrove Facilities
Accommodation is on three floors serviced by a passenger lift. The home has a spacious layout, well suited for ambulant residents with wide straight corridors.
There are two main lounges and a dining room which overlooks the garden.The quiet lounge opens on to an outside enclosed patio balcony which overlooks the garden allowing easy, safe enjoyment of the garden.
In addition there is a small lounge located on the first floor which is ideal for receiving visitors in private.
The Home is also equipped with up to date fully serviced fire alarm and call bell systems which are maintained on a regular basis. Carpets, curtains and soft furnishings are all fire retardant.

An extra effort is made to use locally sourced products at Hillgrove.
Food is freshly made by our talented cook and our varied menus ensure that all tastes are accommodated.
Meals are healthy and nutritious and special diets are catered for.

Evening meal: 17.00 - 18.00
Supper: 20.00 - 20.30
